Location

Location is defined as the position on the earth's surface. Two different kinds of location are classified in these categories: relative and absolute. Absolute location is the latitude and longitude describing where it is you are talking about. Relative location is describing where a place is using other locations, such as north of somewhere, or east of somewhere.

England's absolute location is 52 degrees north, one degree east. This means that it is 52 degrees north of the equator, and one degree east of the prime meridian. Where the points meet is where you will find England. Now, if we were speaking in terms of relative location, England is located east of Ireland, and northwest of France.

England's climate is much like here in the United States. In their wintertime (December-February), snowfall occurs every once in a while, usually around freezing temperature. During the summer (June-August), temperatures often range between 57 and 86 degrees fahrenheit. In the US, the sun sets around eight o'clock. But in England, the sun doesn't decide to go down until about ten o'clock at night. Dark clouds linger in the skies quite often, and rain appears a lot out of the blue.
